2013 Spring Recreation Development Program

SPRING RECREATION PROGRAM

PRE-REGISTRATION DAY : SATURDAY APRIL 6 from 10 am – 12 PM

LONGBOARDS RESTAURANT – 522 BAY AVE, PT. PLEASANT BEACH

Please attend our pre-registration day to pick up your child’s shirt and provide the required notarized medical release form. This will avoid delaying your child from playing at their start time on our 1st session on April 14th.

Program Schedule:

Saturdays: 4/13, 4/20, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11, 5/18, 6/1, 6/8 Location: Beaver Dam Park

Time: “First” kicks ( 4/5 yo) : 9-10:30 am (1.5 hours)

“Second” kicks ( 6/7 yo): 11 – 12:30 pm (1.5 hours)

Uniform: The players will receive their team shirt at the pre-registration Sat. April 6th. Please send them in comfortable clothing appropriately layered for the weather. Cleats and Shin Guards are required. Jewelry is not allowed. No child with a hard cast will be allowed to play. Please send your child with a full water bottle marked with their full name.

Per Park Regulations: No Smoking or Alcoholic Beverages allowed on the fields, thank you.

Goalie Training

The soccer club will be holding goalie training starting on Friday March 22nd at a field TBD.
The training will be held for 8 weeks and there will be a limit of 10 players per session.
Each team will be allowed to have 1 goalie in the session unless the session does not fill up, then it will be on a first come first serve basis.

The times will be as follows and all players must be registered in order to participate, please click here to register:

U7 to U10 – 5:00 to 6:00pm
U11 to U17 – 6:00 to 7:00pm

2012-2013 Travel Team Registration

Player registration for the 2012-2013 travel teams will open July 2, 2012. When registering, please make sure that you sign up for the correct team, as there are teams that will show up for multiple age groups. If you have any questions about the registration process, please contact the club registrar, Kurt Bergen.

Coaches Mandatory Head Concussion Course

All coaches are REQUIRED to take an on-line Head Concussion Class in order to coach. This has come from the state, not the club. If you do not complete this on-line course and print out the certificate, you will not receive your coach’s pass. Please click here to take the course.
